Questions

What is BillOS?

BillOS is Israeli invoicing and bookkeeping software for freelancers and small businesses. It issues tax invoices, receipts, tax invoice-receipts, credit notes, proforma invoices and price quotes, and keeps customers, open debts, expenses and reports for the accountant in one account.

Is BillOS registered with the Israel Tax Authority?

Yes. BillOS is listed in the Israel Tax Authority software registry, certificate 269101. That is a registration, not an endorsement by the Authority.

Does BillOS get allocation numbers (Israel Invoices) automatically?

Yes, on the paid plans. The business connects BillOS to the Tax Authority once, and from then on every tax invoice that needs an allocation number gets it when it is issued, printed on the invoice. The free plan has no automatic connection.

How much does BillOS cost?

There is a free plan with 5 documents a month. Paid plans are ₪24, ₪49 and ₪89 a month, or ₪19, ₪39 and ₪69 a month billed yearly, for 50, 200 and 500 documents a month. Prices are final: no VAT is added on top.

Can I issue invoices in English or in foreign currency?

Yes. Documents can be issued in English and in foreign currencies; the ledger records the shekel amount at the exchange rate of the document date, as Israeli rules require, and the Hebrew statutory headings stay on the page beside the English.

Is there an API?

Yes. A REST API, webhooks, SDKs for JavaScript and Python, a CLI and an MCP server, with a free sandbox for every developer. Documentation: docs.billos.co.il.

Is BillOS in English?

The product is in Hebrew, built for Israeli businesses, and this page is its English summary. Documents themselves can be issued in English.
